I’ve Been Nominated for a WEGO Health Award!

Hi friends! I write to you with exciting news today: I’ve been nominated for a WEGO Health award! While this was quite a shock and very exciting, I could use your help!

First, here’s some background information, which will hopefully answer any questions you may have:

What are the WEGO Health awards, you ask?

The WEGO Health awards are given annually in various categories, to nominees referred to as Patient Leaders. Patient Leaders can fall into one (or more) of three categories:

• Advocates
• Influencers
• Experts

What is WEGO Health? According to their website:

WEGO Health is a mission-driven company dedicated to transforming healthcare by harnessing the experience, skills and insights of Patient Leaders.

What category have I been nominated in?

I have been nominated for Blog: Best in Show. Typing that out still feels surreal! My nomination was anonymous so I have no idea who put me up for this award – if you did and you’re reading this, thank you!

Earlier I said I could use your help. How?

Part of the process in narrowing down the nominees in each category to just five finalists is endorsements! The nominees with the most endorsements will automatically go through and become finalists. By endorsing me, you help bring me one step closer to becoming a finalist! While there are other ways to join the finalists, this is the one the public and the nominee’s communities have a hand in. That means you!

What does an endorsement require?

Just your name and email address! You can endorse any nominee daily until August 17th, 2018.

Where can you endorse me?

There are two places you can endorse me.
