Hey friends!
It’s so good to see you again! Today I’m back with another edition of monthly holidays. But first, let’s wrap up July!
July was a lot more exciting for me than expected. I spent some time dog sitting, house sitting, and cat sitting! I also attended a graduation party for one of my closest family friends, and had an absolute blast putting together her present. It included some of my favorite items and college essentials! Speaking of college, I had the opportunity to spend some time with two of my best friends from school! Earlier this month I went on a (super) short hiking trip on a super unseasonably cool day. We ended our night with barbecue, fireworks, and a campfire – it was one of my favorite nights all summer.
I also got to help her shop for an outfit for her summer research presentation, and go cheer her on!
One of my friends invited me to brunch with her friends from high school, and not only did I have a delicious meal, but we made the most of a rainy day with a Harry Potter marathon. We even doctored together a yummy gluten free/dairy free pasta sauce while making dinner, and jumped at the opportunity to pick up a bag of candy corn (even though it really shouldn’t be out for sale in July).
I managed to read a book this month, all in one sitting! This is huge for me as I haven’t been able to even attempt something like that for years! I’m now eager to start my next read.
July 25th marked the end of my second year blogging. Time really flies! I absolutely love Patience and Pajamas, and plan on this third year being the best yet.
Lastly, Patience and Pajamas was nominated for a WEGO Health Award this month, and voting opened! It will continue through August 19th, so if you’d like to support me (it’s free) you can do so through this link, or the box on my sidebar that says “Endorse Me!”

What am I looking forward to this month?
There don’t seem to be that many easy to celebrate holidays this month, but we’ll make the best of it! As a lefty, I love seeing that there’s a left hander’s day.
In August, I’m looking forward to what I hope will be a relaxing week of vacation, before I finish packing up and head back to my university for RA training on the nineteenth! I’m really excited to get into my room and back to campus. And learn everything I can to be the best resident assistant I can be, of course! Big things are coming friends. I can’t wait to share them with you.
