Hi friends! It’s so nice to see you again. Happy November! How have you been?
Me? Wow. It’s been a lot. Let’s get into it.
October has been quite the month.
I made it through the most intense midterm season I’ve had to date (aced them all, I know, amazing). I was one of the RA’s on duty in my area the Thursday of Halloweekend. It was a long night, but we didn’t have any emergencies. Magic! I went to a soccer game. I turned 19 and ate amazing gluten free and dairy free pizza from a relatively new place I discovered over the summer. It was also Dysautonomia Awareness month and I got to share a lot on my Instagram stories about Dysautonomia and my life with this illness.
Did I do everything I wanted to for Dysautonomia Awareness month? Of course not. When do I ever? But, I’ve decided that I’ll still be writing the content I had hoped to share and publish it whenever I get around to it. Awareness can still happen when it’s not awareness month! So that’s what I’ll do.

What am I looking forward to in November?
I’ve got an appointment with a new doctor. And while I try to not get too excited about these (you never know how they’ll react to your case or what will happen), I can’t help but be a little bit hopeful. I hope my hope is not misplaced!
There’s a lot going on academically leading up to Thanksgiving break for me. While I’ll likely still be working on all the things in between my Black Friday / Small Business Saturday / Cyber Monday shopping, I look forward to the break and rest my body is craving. And the food. Ohhhh, I can’t wait for that Thanksgiving food!
I also realized that I have quite a few blog posts that are pretty much ready to go…. so I’m going to be (hopefully) using little spare moments this month to tie up any loose strings on those and share them with you! To heck with seasonality.

Interesting to see those rare holidays! I totally agree about doctor’s appointments. I always try not to get too hopeful cause that disappointed feeling is awful.
