Dysautonomia Awareness Month 2016

October 1, 2016

October is Dysautonomia Awareness month!  This is not my first awareness month while having Dysautonomia but it IS my first awareness month since being diagnosed.  I had never even heard of Dysautonomia before I was diagnosed, and I am determined to do something about this, and educate others about the illness that has so dramatically changed my life.

What am I doing for Dysautonomia Awareness?

Getting Down for Dysautonomia

Getting Down for Dysautonomia 2016 FlyerI have organized and am hosting an awareness event at the Independent Brewing Company in Bel Air, MD.  It will take place on Sunday October second, if you’re interested in coming the link to the event is here.  The event will benefit the Dysautonomia International POTS research fund.
31 Days of Turquoise

I will be wearing turquoise (or a similar color) everyday for the month of October.  When October is over, I will be posting my month of outfits.  Turquoise happens to be my favorite color, and I own quite a lot of it so I am looking forward to this challenge I have set for myself.  I usually have a bit of turquoise in my outfit everyday, as I wear multiple rings and a bracelet pretty regularly that all have this magnificent color, but this month I’m hoping to have a bit more.
